Jason and Krista

To potential expectant parents who are considering adoption:

Hi! We are Krista and Jason, and we want to thank you for taking the time and allowing us to share a piece of our life with you. We hope that you can get to see who we are, our authenticity, and how excited we are to grow our family through adoption.

We pray that God gives you peace throughout this process. We know that there is nothing easy about this journey, and we hope that above all else you feel a peace about whatever decision you make. Even though we have never met, we want you to know that we love you, we support you, and want what is best for you and your child.

Who we are as a family:

We met in 2010, volunteering together with our church youth ministry. Our relationship grew and we began dating in 2012, engaged in 2013, and married in February 2014. Shortly after we got married we rescued our lab mix Lily, and then in 2019 we added our golden retriever Marshall into our home.

Krista works as a health coach, coaching clients to improve their health and wellbeing to thrive in their daily lives. Krista loves to spend time cooking meals and delicious treats, as well as tending to her vegetable garden in the backyard.

Jason works as a strategy analyst for a healthcare company. He has also worked as a worship pastor for his home church since 2016. Jason loves spending time with his dogs, running, and playing golf.

We love spending time with both of our families, who live in the cities. Both of our families also have summer cabins in Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin, and we enjoy spending parts of our summers with our families at their cabins. We also have a close group of friends that we love spending time with as well!

Our views on openness in adoption:

Openness is very important to us. We greatly value the relationship with the birth parents and would want to make that a priority for our child. We know that building those relationships and connections take time and we want to work with the birth parents to grow our relationship with them as well as growing their relationship with their child.
