Our Post Adoption Application Process

To initiate post adoption services, submit the Application for Post Adoption Services. Once we receive your application, we will send you a contract for services and walk you through the next steps.

For standard Post Adoption Services, no application or fee is required. Our standard services include:

• General post adoption questions
• Updating information in your file
• Communicating new medical information
• Connecting you with others in similar adoption circumstances
• Coordinating visits through New Life Adoptions
• Forwarding/copying regular correspondence between adoption parties

Please note that the Application for Post Adoption Services must be notarized for your protection. You can find a notary at any of our offices free of charge, and most banks offer notary services at no cost or for a nominal fee. You are required to present identification when having a document notarized. It is best to call ahead to ensure a notary is available.

Fees and financial assistance 
The fees charged for various post adoption services range from $25-100 per service; however, financial assistance is available if needed. New Life Adoptions recognizes the importance of these services for birth parents, adoptive families, and adopted adults. If you cannot afford the fees, but you are in need of a post adoption service, contact the Post Adoption Social Worker for financial assistance. No post adoption fees will be charged for services within the first two years following a placement.
