Grief is messy. It isn’t simple. The process is unique for each individual. It doesn’t seem to end. It is a journey. Each of you reading this are already very aware of this. You yourselves have gone through the process of grieving and healing.
Brene’ Brown, author and research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, has written much on the power of vulnerability and storytelling. Her writings and her Ted Talks encourage people to tell their story even when it’s hard and even when others may not understand.
